RSS Feeds

What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and/or "Rich Site Summary". RSS feeds enable Internet users to automatically receive instant news and information updates from our millsandboon.co.uk Community and other Web sites. The Community RSS feeds are just what they sound like - a simplified version of blog and forum posts from this site.

You collect and read RSS feeds by using what's called a "feed reader" or "feed aggregator", which is updated automatically when new posts and content is published there. The reason people use these services (and they are generally free) is because it allows them to enjoy stories from many of their favourite blogs and websites all in one place rather than having to review each one individually. So once you subscribe, posts will come to you until you decide to unsubscribe, which is also very easy.

Subscribe to the website:

What does subscribing mean?

When you subscribe to an RSS feed for the millsandboon.co.uk community, every time we publish a new blog or forum post, it will automatically appear in your reader. You don't need to provide any personal information, it's free and very easy to use.

How do I subscribe to the millsandboon.co.uk Community?

Once you have registered with a feed reader, you simply click on the orange RSS button you see on our pages, and you will be taken to another page where you will prompted to add the feed to a list of pre-selected aggregators. You simply pick one from there or add the feed to one of your own choice. You will then be automatically subscribed to that section's feed. It's a lot easier to manage than bookmarking your favourite pages, and you'll never miss an important post again!
