Medicals thread?
Is there a specific part of the forum for those who write, or those who are interested in writing, Medicals? I can't seem to find a separate section, but have seen a 'Medicals thread' mentioned in a post.

I was wondering about
I was wondering about joining the RNA again - I was a full member a few years back - but am not sure whether I can afford to attend the conference this year, money being tight.
If any RNA members here have a moment, what other perks might make membership worthwhile, especially since we're getting on for summer and I'd only have six months or so to run before needing to renew?
I'm based in Warwickshire; I think there's a Birmingham area meeting, but can't quite recall ...

Susan - I thnks it's great that M&B have their own chat room up and running. I've been chatting away on EHarl and I've had so much fun there!
They've started a 'Date with Destiny' where they have three heros from books (which I believe are already published and out there for all to read). You just pick your hero and write 1,000 words. Great fun - and a brilliant way for those of us who would love to write to learn. Really funny too, to see everyone else's take on the hero they choose - the stories are so different.
Do you think we could do that here?
