I like the feature of the newer posts appearing at the top of the page not the bottom. But the cursor still automatically jumps to the bottom of the page when one makes a new post. Shouldn't it now be set to jump to the top?
Thanks for your feedback - I'll certainly look into making some of that happen! As for regular feedback, yes, you're right to expect this and we aim to respond to all issues and comments that require looking into promptly.
If you need to please don't hesitate to email community@hmb.co.uk to put things right in front of us!
I think I would agree with Michelle's comment about finding the Simply Series information. I don't get change to visit the community more than once a week so am struggling to remember 'where' I wrote 'what' (My Recent Posts isn't yet sorted?) or ' where' the 'stuff' is.
Could we have updates on progress with the glitches or changes? It's nice to know what the backroom girsl and boys may be doing to make our experiences even better!
Suggestion: a way of finding a list of members? There is a list of authors on the main site so something similar?
I must say that, although there are the expected teething troubles I am enjoying the community. Can you give us any feedback on the traffic it has been getting and if this is more than was predicted when it was rolled out?
I wanted to make a suggestion about where the book series threads are located. Right now you have to navigate to Cafe Social, then Simply Series, and then all the series are listed. It seems like a lot of clicking. I never would have found the historical thread without a lot of burrowing. The eHarlequin site is very confusing, and since we have a brand new forum here at Mills & Boon, maybe we could try to be clearer?
My suggestion is to rename Cafe Social as something more accessible, like Book Discussions. Or, at least have something in the description that would tell readers that this is where they would click to find all the book chats.
Instead of having to click through again to Series and to Mira, why not just list all the threads--all the series discussions and Mira at the bottom. That way, a brand new visitor wanting to visit a thread about, say, Modern Romance would know to click on Book Discussions and Modern Romance. Easy.
Too many folders can make navigation too complicated. Just a thought. Thanks!
