Hello!
I finally managed to get logged in! I'm Melissa McClone, author of the third book in the blinddatebride series.
Thanks to everyone who's posted about the books so far. It was a lot of fun to write and great to work with Jennie and Fiona. The research into dating sites was interesting especially since I knew nothing about web dating. Fortunately lots of people offered up stories about their experiences.

An uh oh moment
We've just got home from a fab few days away and I'm busy downloading my ebooks.
I'm looking forward to reading in bed tonight without disturbing Gray but it's only now I'm realising that I'll still need a light.
Oopsie, I wonder how long it'll be before he realises.

Sony Reader
Yay for the Sony Reader, Sue! For Christmas I got the cover with the built-in panel that lights up, allowing me to read in the dark (i.e. in bed) without disturbing Mr Harper! I love it.

Ooh, Fiona, I can't tell you how good it is to hear you're
loving your Sony Reader. Gray's spoilt me and just ordered me one which should be here by the end of the week.

Hi Nancy & Sue!
I too have succumbed to ebooks. It hasn't helped my M&B habit any, but at least my bookshelves aren't groaning as hard. And I love my Sony Reader!

Hi everybody and guilty temptations...
Oh boy, reading about this trilogy has made me desperate to add them to my (already) heaving tbr piles. Although, I have to say that the availability of the ebook editions makes it even more of a tempting (& guilty) pleasure, cos for some reason it's easier to forget to mention the purchases. Of course, it helps that only I know where they're hiding. Ssshh...

I have received my June 09
I have received my June 09 Romances (yay reader service). So far they have all been great stories. It is so hard to choose which one to read first and which one to save for last. I tend to leave my "sure bet" authors 'til last. (Sorry, Donna, but I like to savour the best for last.) Since this month I found three 'sure bet' authors, what is a reader to do. It came down to flipping a coin. Right now I am reading Dani's story and that will be the end of the blinddatebrides.com trilogy, I'm
to see this trilogy end. They have been a delightful read.
Hi Jennie F
Hi, Jennie F!
So glad your're enjoying our trilogy!
I've been quiet for a week while I finished a book, but now I'm feeling sociable again. later today I'm going to put the finishing touches to my part of the Blinddatebrides website (www.blinddatebrides.com). I'm going to have such fun blogging as my heroine, Grace, as she takes her first steps in the world of internet dating!

Hi
Hi Kim,
I blame my grandmother for my tendency to come to life at nine at night. If only it worked as well for getting up in the mornings
. Chatting online is a wonderful way of instant long-distance contact. I love being able to open IM and talk in real time with friends in the UK and US as well as Australia, and it's kind of nice to be able to do it in my pajamas if I want
. Hmm, I wonder if any of our Blind-Date-Brides books have our heroines doing exactly that?
Jennie
Hello!
Lovely to see you here on the community pages Jennie and Fiona. Though I'm not sure what time it is Down Under Jennie - are you burning the midnight oil to say hello?!
As I was lucky enough to edit one of the Blind Date books - and read them all ahead of time - I would say they are all absolutely fabulous and full of fun! And it's clear from your blinddatebrides.com website you all had a lot of fun writing them together!

Blind-Date-Brides
The new community section is lovely, and I've managed to 'find' one of my Blind-Date-Brides buddies -- waves to Fiona!
Blind-Date-Brides is a three book series. I think as the authors of this series, we had as much fun as our globally-spread heroines. I know I came out of the authoring experience smiling. I still have a copy of the chart Fiona organised so we could try to figure out how to communicate with each other across the UK (Fiona), USA (Melissa McClone) and Australia (me) and manage the time zone challenges.
Our heroines met on a dating website. Melissa researched dating sites to help add authenticity to our stories. Maybe I should have volunteered for that, I think it would have been a lot of fun
.
Somehow my heroines always seem to end up in odd situations sooner or later. For Marrissa with her hero Rick, there's a scene with a camp bed and shovels at twenty paces....
We hope you'll enjoy our series as much as we enjoyed writing it, and if you would like to see a little more about the series, you can also visit the series website at www.blinddatebrides.com.
With love from Australia
Jennie
Hello and Blind-date brides
Hi everyone! Not sure exactly where I should post this, but this seemed a good a spot as any!
I'm so excited that Mills&Boon has it's very own community - a place to hang out, chat to other readers, writers, get the gossip on the latest good books...
And, if anyone is interested in all things internet, just take a look at Jennie Adams's Nine-to-Five Bride, out this month. it's the first in a trilogy called Blind-date Brides.com - about three women from three different countries who find love and friendship on an internet dating site!
Look forward to chatting to everyone!
