supernatural romance

Trying to find a book I read about 3 years age but can't remember the title.  The story revolved around a married couple, he'd made her marry him and they move to scotland where they are doing up a castle type building.  She falls in love with him there and I remember her dog dying.  At the end they have a row and he tells her she can leave but she goes to pack then comes back to a pebble beach where he is looking out to sea and confesses her love for him and tells him sje wants to stay.  I also remeber she thought she loved someone else but she tells him it was never love as she now knows what love is and they live happily ever after.  Any ideas it's driving me crazy trying to find this book?
