Thrilling read

This was the first Nocturne series book that I`ve read and it was certainly exciting right from the start. This supernatural tale of the attraction between the very human Mackenzie and vampire Dom was hard to put down. From the start there was the attempt by both to suppress their attraction which was harder to deal with because Mackenzie has sweet blood running through her veins (something all vampires find hard to resist) and Dom is supposed to be keeping other vampires, such as the Darkbloods who readily feed on humans, from giving into their cravings. When Mackenzie becomes a prime target from this unscrupulous bunch, he has to keep her safe. A fun read.
