This story picks up where McMahon’s last book left off, kind of. But this time her primary hero was last book’s secondary male character. The badly scarred Khalid discovers there is a renter on property he inherited. He has no intention of keeping the home, but the renter won’t be bought off. Ella came to this secluded spot to work on her glass blowing techniques and to build an inventory, but she is hiding something from her new landlord. Will these two damaged individuals find a way to heal and love again?
