Lucy Gordon

I loved this book!!! I couldn`t put it down! It was the perfect cocktail of drama, suspense, comedy and of course...romance!! 10 out of 10!!

Enjoyable read. I would have prefered a bit more build up for the end. I correctly guessed the ending two chapters from the end!! Lucy Gordon is still my favorite M&B author.

Lucy Gordon crafts an excellent romance in an unusual setting, perfect for escaping from the every day cares of waiting for a doctor's appointment.I loved how she brought China to likfe as she expertly told Olivia and Lang's story. The ending brought a tear to my eye.

This was quite upsetting in parts, Julia's daughter was taken from her by her schemeing ex-husband when she was thrown in jail.  Vincenzo as a hero is an Alpha male but without the money (although a chance to revive the family fortunes comes towards the end of the story, thanks to Julia).  This did not detract from his Hero credentials one bit.

I was pleasantly surprised withthis book. Gordon's voice is unique and not quite to my taste-I feel a bitdistanced from her characters. I enjoy a more immediate connection withcharacters and I often feel a disconnect when I start one of her stories.However as this story progressed I did feel more drawn into it and I loved thehero, mostly, except when I wanted to knock him upside the head.

it is a very good book and very well written.  It would have been great as a full novel there seemed to be alot of detail squashed in (for a better way of putting it)

 I really enjoyed this read.
