I was very pleased to find out that Impoverished Miss, Convenient Wife won the Nest M&B Historical 2009 from Cataromance.

Stacy Kayne's Mountain Wild won for best Harlequin Historical 2009 and Nicola Cornick won a Single Title Award for her The Scandals of An Innocent.

Lucy King won Best Modern Heat for her Debut Bought:Damsel in Distress.

I would like to welcome Lucy King, Harlequin Presents debut author of Bought: Damsel in Distress which will be released January 2010. Lucy, can you tell us a little about the book?

Lucy:  Thank you for the warm welcome - it’s great to be here! And it’s very exciting to see the release of my first Harlequin Presents.

It is always exciting when a new book comes out. There is this terrible temptation to rush to every store in the neighbourhood (and further afield) to make sure your novel is there, to perhaps catch someone in the act of buying it or looking at it.

Once again I am holding the Perfect Pitch contest - only instead of on my blog it's all happening at eharlequin. 

Every time a new book hits the shelves, there’s a certain level of excitement.  The thrill of seeing a book in a shop or in a customer’s hand never goes away.  But sometimes the excitement is really great, and this is one of those times for me.
